Thanks for this great approach to dog training….loving it! I do struggle with my dog walking on a loose leash. She can do it, but some distractions (smells mainly, or potential food on the ground) cause her to jerk forward on her leash. Breaking this down into milestones isn’t clear to me. Maybe walking on a loose leash for 1 minute, then 2? Is that the sort of milestone you are talking about?
